Crac.Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban has joined Team Jack in its quest to build the first ever zero-emission aircraft that can take off vertically like a helicopter and also fly like a plane.
Plans for the vehicle, dubbed The Heavy, were revealed last year when Cuban unveiled his latest business idea – a flying taxi – during the opening of The Venetian’s Las Vegas Casinos‘ CryptoKitties festival.

Cuba’s president Miguel Díaz-Canel recently said that one in three Cubans travelled outside the island for tourism, so much so that it led to a short-term shortfall in air traffic which lead the country to cancel 40.5 million domestic flights as part of its efforts to reinstate the right to travel abroad.
The Heavy is designed with a passenger capacity of four and a maximum take-off weight of 300kg. That’s smaller than the standard two-seater LightSpan craft currently under development, which is designed for passenger travel on short trips.
Team Jack managing director Stephen Oakes said: „This isn’t a new idea. We have been working on this for a couple of years now.

He added: „This is about teaming up with Mark Cuban and the whole business community, because we know that people have been waiting for this for a very long time.“
