Talpha is a mountain in the English Lake District, in Cumbria. It is the highest point of the Easdale Peninsula.

The mountain is shaped like a skull due to the erosion of the rocky surface by frost and wind. This skull-shape is sometimes referred to as the „Easdale Skull“ and is sometimes confused with similar spiky hills in the Lake District, especially from the hamlet of „Skullery“ in Whitbarrow.

The peak has a subsidiary summit, which is known locally as „Skull Top“. The summit of Talpha is the start of the Spur Road, a long track connecting the eastern Lakeland hills with Ullswater and the west. In Summer this route is often used as an alternative to the more direct route of the Coniston Way, which follows the line of the Roman road Inglewood-Windermere Way.

Talpha translates as „head“ or „wrist“.
